CLOSW Construction recently completed the Meridian Manufacturing Plant, a 140,850-square-foot aerospace manufacturing facility built adjacent to an active production site. The client’s primary concern was clear: construction could not disrupt daily operations under any circumstances.
To meet this challenge, we implemented a phased construction approach with strict noise and dust containment protocols. In addition, we coordinated all material deliveries and heavy equipment movements to avoid peak production hours. Furthermore, our safety team conducted daily risk assessments to ensure that construction activities never encroached on the client’s operational zones.
The project also required navigating complex zoning regulations and securing all necessary environmental permits within the first 60 days. Equally important, our team maintained constant communication with the client’s plant manager to address any concerns in real time.
Ultimately, CLOSW Construction delivered the Meridian Manufacturing Plant on schedule with zero lost-time incidents across 180,000 man-hours.
